Symphony of Southeast Texas Classic Series II – Symphony For Our World

October 30, 2021 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Symphony for Our World combines National Geographic’s stunning visuals with an original score by Emmy- and BAFTA-nominated Bleeding Fingers Music, performed by your Symphony of Southeast Texas.

Beginning in the depths of our mysterious seas, we emerge onto stormy shores, take in vast landscapes and evolving eco-systems, rise to desolate mountain peaks and soar to great heights with stunning views of the pale blue dot we call home. This moving experience takes audiences on a breathtaking journey through a variety of wondrously wild ecosystems, each accompanied by its own orchestral movement and including intimate portraits of wildlife. Awe-inspiring music and visuals tell a story of the complex yet fragile nature of the fascinating and wondrous ecosystems that allow us to survive and thrive together.

Symphony for Our World creates a chorus of celebration in honor of Earth, reminding us why it’s vitally important to conserve, protect, and preserve all of our planet’s resources. It is a powerful, and timely, tribute to the beauty and wonders of our world.

Chelsea Tipton II, Conductor
